Pirate Skull Fill-in and Printable Invitations

Pirate Party Skull InvitationPirate Party Skull InvitationMy understanding is that the teeny tiny blockbuster hit pirate movie is sailing back into theaters this May. That’s right, just when you thought it was safe to go back into the theater, look who has come back from the end of the world sashaying all across the big screen. Well I say you don’t have to brave those crowds, stand in line for 8 hours, and endure all that sashaying on your own. Oh no, I say you invite a few of your maties to help support you through the two hours of pirate mania production. Then back to your place for a little yo-ho-ho and a bottle of rum, or depending on how much sashaying...perhaps two.

Yes, my swashbuckler friends might as well make a formal affair out of this action-packed pirate event. But where oh where does one find the perfect pirate invitations for your eye-patch soirée? Glad you asked. All Us All the Time has both Party Pirate Skull fill-in and printable pirate invitations. That’s right folks; Disney isn’t the only one with a small suave and debonair pirate captain. Pirate Party Skull looks quite dashing on his balloon wearing his polka-dotted scarf with coordinating eye-patch. You can choose the fill-in party skull invites with the inside message of “Come me hearties”, and a place to fill-in the event, when, where and hosted by, or you can choose the polka-dot printable pirate party skull invitations to compose your own pirate musings.

Printable Pirate InvitationPrintable Party Skull InvitationPrintable Pirate Party Skull

It would be hard for anyone to refuse your invitation with that charming Pirate Party Skull. In fact, probably even Captain Jack Sparrow himself would have a hard time turning down an invitation from these coordinating eye-patched pirate skulls. However, you so know he would end up totally hoarding all the rum, not to mention passing out on your sofa...so use your own judgment in sending him a party pirate skull invitation.

P.S. Speaking of pirates, come check out our new All Pirates All the Time page.

Martini Wednesday with All Us All the Time

Martini
The Cat in the Hat turns 50 years old this year. You can help this fabulous feline celebrate by sending the Cat in the Hat a Birthday card, and Random House Children’s Books will donate one book to First Book from now until May 1, 2007, limit one birthday card per person. You can create your Cat in the Hat birthday card on line or you can mail-in your own hand-made card. Details on how to send your birthday card can be found at Seussville.

To also celebrate the Seuss this month we are going to have a different Martini each Wednesday through March themed after one of those delightful stories. Hum, perhaps an odd combination? Oh let’s face it, you are never too old for Dr. Seuss and there is always a reason for a martini.

Red martini, blue martini, green martini,
Let’s make it one martini!

Red Fish Blue Fish (plus green) Martini
  • 1 oz Grenadine
  • 1 oz Blue Curacao
  • 1 oz Midori Melon
  • Red, blue and green maraschino cherries (can also use red, blue, and green gum drops)
  • Optional: Red, green or blue colored sugar
First pour the grenadine into a chilled martini glass. Then rest the rounded part of a spoon against the inside of the glass. Carefully and slowly pour in the Blue Curacao onto the spoon so it runs down the inside of the glass and layers smoothly. Do this same step again pouring in the Midori. Then garnish your drink with a small wooden skewer with a red, green, and blue maraschino cherry. If you cannot find the colored maraschino cherries, you can use gum drops instead.

Optional: Start by putting the colored sugar on a small plate. Then take your chilled martini glass, dipping the edges in cold ice-water then dipping the glass in red or white sugar.

Tea Party Tips

TeacupsIf you are new to our blog, let me take a short sentence or two to introduce us. We are All Us All the Time, an online store with whimsical and unique stationery, greeting cards, fill-in invitations, and small gifts, created by my sister and me. Also on our site we have what we call our Tip Page, and every month (or there about) on this page we give party and decorating ideas, craft projects, and/or recipes. In the past we have had tips on egg decorating, ice-cream socials, and fiendishly fiesta feasts. We have also had recipes for Swedish pancakes, fruit pizza, and pumpkin pie with whole-wheat crust. All of our past tips can be found on our Tip Archive Page.

This month our tip is on hosting a tea party. Almost any time of the year and occasion is a perfect time for tea. You can host a tea party for birthdays, holidays, showers, Mother's Day, book clubs, or just because. You can also incorporate other themes such as a hat party, cookie party, scone/pastry party, or bring your own teacup party. For those of you who love to create, you can add a twist such as make your own hat party, decorate your teacup party, or a tea journaling party. On our Time for Tea Tip Page, we provide a few decorating ideas, elaborate on a few of the above themes, list some great tea resources to find exotic teas, tea accessories and recipes, as well as providing a basic recipe for scones. If you are interested in finding out more about hosting a tea party, please come and visit our tip page, and while you are on our site, feel free to browse around to see the many whimsical offerings we currently have available.

Is that one sugar or two?
