Due to inclement weather and scheduling this past spring the sister and I were not able to make it out to see the stones, and though our schedule seems even busier now that summer has hit; we hope to do a better job in working in our cemetery excursions. Meanwhile, our mother stumbled upon a unique gravestone when at the Lynn Grove Cemetery over Memorial weekend. It was not so much the stone as the epitaph on the stone that had a tale to tell. Visit our Tale of the Tomb to see its story.
In honor of National Children's Book Week, if you purchase Willow May Goes to the Midnight Carnival this week, May 11th - 17th, we will donate 25% of the purchase price to Reach Out and Read, a national nonprofit organization that promotes early literacy.

We have posted a new Tale of the Tomb on our site highlighting a few symbols and their meanings used on gravestones we found at the Riverside and Fairmount cemeteries.
