Journaling has become very popular and rightfully so as it is a wonderful way capture memories, musings, and sketches of the everyday adventures that one encounters in life. Whether it is to record great travels, write or draw your inner-most thoughts at the beginning or end of each day, or just to have to jot down or sketch out your daily whims, a journal is one of the best companions to have with you during your day. I don’t know if we have the biggest selection of buttons, magnets, and compact mirrors, but my gosh we have to be close. We have over 80 designs to choose from! We have French kitties, fleur de lis, teacups, sundaes, dots & stripes, totally mod, hearts, lemons, limes, spring flowers, gothic, holiday, and really just too many to list.

If you need a gift for a young girl, a cute idea is the compact mirror that comes in a velveteen pouch with a matching or coordinating key chain. You can get both for still under $10. One set is the spring flowers; you could get the compact mirror in the daisy and the key chain in the tulip. If they are not of driving age, they can still use the key chain to slip on the zipper of their jacket or bag, or could switch out the key chain for a button. When my sister was working on illustrating the cookbook, Colorado Cravings, for the award-winning Highland Haven Creekside Inn, the publisher from Blueline told her that she thought her twig borders would be adorable in art prints or decorative wall art. That conversation sparked the creation of our 4-piece decorative wall art set featuring four prints highlighting each season of the year. Each seasonal print has an original illustration with one of our original quotes; the season word itself is faded into the background, framed in with that adorable twig border. Prints are 8 x 10 matted with archival mattboard ready to frame. Even though I am there with her assisting with the fabric choices and patterns for the stationery sachets, the anticipation for the finished product is like a child waiting for Christmas morning, and I am never disappointed. Once again, her two latest sachets, Winter Solstice and Rustic Holiday, are absolutely stunning and would make an exquisite gift for the holiday.


The Stationery Sachets are hand-sewn with 3 pockets on the inside to hold whimsical and enchanting stationery, note sheets, envelopes, and two gel pens. Then the sachets can be folded and tied-up with a ribbon bow that is sewn on the back. They are really a home décor piece as well as stationery. The Rustic Holiday Stationery Sachet captures the charm of being in a rustic log cabin in the mountains cozying up to the fire. The Rustic Holiday Sachet is done in a winter sage fabric with a leaf pattern paired with the same deep rich green, burgundy, and chestnut brown with leaves. If you looked at the Sunday ads in your paper there is no way you could have missed that the summer blockbuster hit is coming to DVD this Tuesday. That’s right those pirates will be invading stores this Tuesday as Pirates of the Caribbean, Dead Man’s Chest is released to DVD. Not only can you get the Pirates of the Caribbean DVD, but they are also offering a deluxe 2-DVD set with 5 hours of extra pirate coverage, because really, can you ever get too much of pirates? I mean who on your gift list would not want to entrench themselves in 7+ hours of pirate mania?
